Schedule (Section 4)

1.§

A radiation source as a result of whose activity ultraviolet radiation (Ultraviolet Radiation) is generated or is likely to be generated in the wavelength range shorter than 400 nanometres, provided that the radiation source has a weighted power density not exceeding 3x10⁻⁸ W/cm², measured at a distance of 5 centimetres at any accessible point on the body of the radiation source, including: halogen bulbs and tanning lamps; for the purpose of this item, the weighting of the power density shall be carried out in accordance with the guidelines of a superintendent.

2.§

A device that emits light in the visible spectrum, in the wavelength range between 400 nanometres and 780 nanometres, provided that it is not a device or installation as a result of whose activity laser radiation is generated or is likely to be generated, including: lighting fixtures of all types.

3.§

A device or installation as a result of whose activity laser radiation is generated or is likely to be generated, provided that the device or laser installation is classified in the latest edition of the International Electrotechnical Standard IEC–60825–1, ed. 1.2 or in Israeli Standard SI 1249, as belonging to laser risk class Class 1, Class 1M, Class 2, Class 2M, Class 3a, including: a barcode scanning device, a laser pointer or rangefinder or a disc player.

4.§

A radiation source as a result of whose activity infrared radiation (Infrared Radiation) is generated or is likely to be generated in the wavelength range between 780 nanometres and one millimetre, provided that the radiation source has a weighted power density not exceeding 10mW/cm² measured at a distance of 5 centimetres from the output of the radiation source, including: a remote control device.

5.§

A radiation source as a result of whose activity electromagnetic radiation at radio frequencies (Radio Frequency – RF) from 100 kilohertz to 300 gigahertz is generated or is likely to be generated, provided that the radiation source has a power not exceeding 0.1 watt, including: a remote control for activating a vehicle alarm; for the purpose of this item, "power" – root mean square (Root Mean Square – RMS) power, measured at the highest transmission configuration at the output of a radio frequency transmitter, and if there is no matched electrical access at the transmitter output, effective radiated power (Effective Radiated Power – ERP) shall be measured.

6.§

A domestic microwave oven that meets the requirements of Israeli Standard SI 961, a drone control device with a power not exceeding 0.5 watt, a simplex (Simplex) communication device with a power not exceeding 25 watts, a portable wireless communication device and a mobile telephone of all types, including a cordless telephone, or a cellular telephone whose specific absorption rate (Specific Absorption Rate – SAR) does not exceed 2W/Kg averaged over 10 grams of biological tissue, or 1.6W/Kg averaged over 1 gram of biological tissue.

7.§

A radiation source as a result of whose activity radiation in the frequency range below 100 kilohertz is generated or is likely to be generated, including: domestic electrical appliances, such as an air conditioner, washing machine, refrigerator, electric shaver, hair dryer, electric blanket, personal computer or electric light bulbs, but excluding installations serving for the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity, including high-voltage lines, overhead and underground power lines, sub-stations and transformer stations, and low-voltage lines, up to the stage of domestic distribution.

8.§

A photovoltaic installation – whose installed capacity is up to 1 megawatt, where the component of the system that converts direct current to alternating current is located at least 0.5 metres from a place where persons are permanently present; for the purpose of this item, "photovoltaic installation" – a system for the generation of electricity that directly converts solar energy into electrical energy.

9.§

A storage installation whose installed capacity is up to 10 kilowatts; for the purpose of this item, "storage installation" – an energy storage installation as defined in the Planning and Building Law, 5725-1965, serving for the purpose of self-consumption of electrical energy or for the purpose of feeding it into the electricity grid.

10.§

An electric vehicle charging station.
