Representation of the State in Certain Proceedings§

1.

Where the Attorney General is of the opinion that a right of the State of Israel or a public right or public interest is affected or involved, or is likely to be affected or involved, in any proceeding before a court or before a settling officer within the meaning of the Land (Settlement of Title) Ordinance, he may, at his discretion, appear in that proceeding and be heard, or specially authorise his representative to do so on his behalf.

Representation of a Public Servant or Public Body§

Where a public servant or a council, committee, board, tribunal or any other body of persons of a like nature, established or constituted by law, is a party to a proceeding before a court by virtue of its functions, it may be represented in that proceeding by the Attorney General or his representative.
