Continuation of the School's Operation§
The Mikveh Israel Agricultural School, founded by the Alliance Israélite Universelle ("Kol Israel Haverim") on the fourteenth day of Adar I 5630, which is the first agricultural educational institution in the Land of Israel, shall continue to operate as an agricultural school for the advancement of its objectives.
Objectives of the School§
The objectives of the School are to educate youth in Israel for agricultural life and settlement, and to impart to them a general education as well as Jewish culture and Hebrew education in accordance with the heritage of Israel, as is customary in the educational institutions of the State.
Amendments to the Memorandum and Articles§
Amendments to the memorandum of association and the articles of association of the company "Mikveh Israel – Kol Israel Haverim" which administers the School shall require the approval of the Government and of a joint committee of the Education and Culture Committee and the Interior and Environment Quality Committee of the Knesset.
Prohibition of Change of Purpose§
Permits for Construction§
A permit for construction or for the use of the real property detailed in the Schedule may be granted for any purpose designed to advance the objectives of the School, and this notwithstanding the restrictions referred to in section 11 of the First Schedule of the Planning and Building Law, 5725-1965.
Implementation and Regulations§
The Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Education and Culture are charged with the implementation of this Law and may, with the consent of the Minister of Agriculture, make Regulations for its implementation.
