Under the Law, the defendant's matter, if the defendant is still hospitalised or receiving outpatient treatment, must be brought before the district psychiatrist at least two weeks before the end of the maximum hospitalisation or treatment period as aforesaid, for the purpose of the district psychiatrist's decision as referred to in section 15a of the Law, and notice must also be given to the Attorney General, the District Attorney and the Israel Police that the said period is about to expire.
