First Schedule (Sections 2, 6(a)(1) to (4), 20(1) to (6) and 21)

(1)NIS 6,000.
(2)NIS 15,000, except in respect of an amount paid by a person who is not a dealer for the purchase of a vehicle, which shall remain NIS 50,000.

Second Schedule (Section 5)

(1)the name of the payee is not specified in the cheque;
(2)if the cheque is an endorsed cheque and the amount specified in it exceeds NIS 10,000, one of the following applies:
(a)the names of the endorser and endorsee and the identity number of the endorser are not specified in the cheque;
(b)the cheque was endorsed more than once, except –
(1)an endorsement prescribed by the Minister of Finance, with the consent of the Minister of Justice and the Governor of the Bank of Israel, and with the approval of the Constitution Committee, intended to correct particulars in the cheque in accordance with section 31(4) of the Bills of Exchange Ordinance, and subject to the conditions prescribed;
(2)if after the first endorsement the cheque was transferred to a banking corporation, to the Postal Bank or to a holder of a licence to provide deposit and credit services for the purpose of its payment;
(3)(3) if the second endorsement is to a supervised financial body; the Minister of Finance, with the consent of the Governor of the Bank of Israel, and with the approval of the Constitution Committee, may prescribe that such an endorsement shall be made only with respect to services prescribed by the Minister;
(4)if after an endorsement as provided in paragraph (3), the cheque was endorsed from the supervised financial body to another supervised financial body once only.
